Dining Room. Little touches such as china dishware, linen napkins
and Hawaiian background music add to the ambiance.
Accommodations
Residents are able to relax in their home-like semi-private,
semi-private deluxe and private rooms. All rooms at Hale Ola
Kino come standard with a bathroom and lavatory, electrically
adjustable hospital-style bed, bedside nightstand, over-the-bed
hospital-style table, armoire and television.
Social
Services
Residents and families at Hale Ola Kino enjoy the access to
a highly qualified and well-networked Social Services program
that can assist with the sometimes-difficult transition from
home to a nursing facility. The Social Services program is also
instrumental in facilitating discharges back home or to other
healthcare facilities while coordinating the necessary resources
to ensure a safe and seamless transition. The Social Services
department also offers free Notary Services to Hale Ola Kino
residents and families on a Monday thru Friday basis.

Residents and families rely upon the highly trained professional
nursing staff at Hale Ola Kino. Hale Ola Kino staffs a Registered
Nurse (RN) on a 24-hour basis in addition to other licensed
professionals to include Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and
Certified Nurses Assistants (CNA). Hale Ola Kino offers one
of the best Nurse to Resident ratios in Hawaii as part of our
commitment to the highest quality of care attainable.
Rehabilitative
Services
Residents at Hale Ola Kino benefit from the professional attention
of our Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists. Hale Ola
Kino’s Rehabilitative Services combine state-of-the-art
technology with proven treatment protocol to achieve the results
that are necessary for residents to regain their highest level
of functioning.
Activities
Intergenerational programming and pet therapy are just two examples
of activities that the residents of Hale Ola Kino enjoy. Various
programs are designed to meet the needs of all residents from
the highest to the lowest in function. Hale Ola Kino staffs
dedicated activities staff seven days a week demonstrating our
commitment to a holistic approach to healthcare.
